US Secretary of State Antony https://mdjuriya.blogspot.com/2021/10/pinnacle-science-testo-boost-reviews.html Blinken said Mr Khalilzad's deputy, Thomas West, would take over. "I extend my gratitude for his decades of service to the American people," Mr Blinken said in a statement announcing Mr Khalilzad's resignation on Monday. In a letter to Mr Blinken, Mr Khalilzad acknowledged that "the political arrangement between the Afghan government https://mdjuriya5.tumblr.com/post/665457014915399680/pinnacle-science-testo-boost-reviews and the Taliban did not go forward as envisaged".

"The reasons for this are too https://ebusinesspages.com/mdjuriya5.user complex and I will share my thoughts in the coming days and weeks," he wrote, saying he was stepping aside as the US entered the "new phase of our Afghanistan policy". He added that he was "saddened" for the Afghan people given the current outcome. Mr Khalilzad, 70, was born in Afghanistan and grew up in Kabul. He is a veteran US diplomat, holding previous positions under http://tanyajuriya.simplesite.com/450835214 former presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama and George W Bush.

He spearheaded talks https://creativemarket.com/users/MdJuriya with the Taliban that led to the signing of the so-called Doha Agreement in February last year, which set a date for the US to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan. In September, US defence officials said the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan could be traced back to that deal. US President Joe Biden continued the plan for withdrawal, with an end date of 31 August, marking an end to a 20-year presence https://forum.maidenfans.com/members/mdjuriya5.123344/#about in the country. US forces removed the Taliban from power in 2001.

Separately on https://my.desktopnexus.com/mdjuriya5/ Monday, it was announced that the US state department's inspector general would review the final days of the withdrawal from Afghanistan, including the emergency evacuation of the country's embassy in Kabul. A department spokesperson said the review would also look at the resettlement of refugees. https://paper.li/cmOqXL8Fzb4JPT1iEBUl4 President Biden, a Democrat, has been criticised by his Republican opponents over the Afghan withdrawal.

The Taliban's rapid advance https://www.prfree.org/@mdjuriya5/https-wwwipressusacom-sponsered-pinnacle-science-testo-boost-reviews-6rm5rn88pkw4 in August - when the militants seized control of the country within about two weeks - sparked a mass evacuation effort from the US and its allies, as thousands of people tried to flee. A suicide attack killed more than 180 people during the operation. Top US defence officials have said the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan can http://www.kikforum.co/members/md-juriya.57808/ be traced back to a deal between the group and the Trump administration.

The so-called Doha https://www.xen-factory.com/index.php?members/mdjuriya5.17899/#about agreement was signed in February 2020 and set a date for the US to withdraw its troops. Gen Frank McKenzie said the deal had a "really pernicious effect" on the Afghan government and military. Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin agreed, saying the agreement had helped the Taliban get "stronger". n addition to setting a withdrawal date, the Doha agreement included https://photopeach.com/user/mdjuriya5 broad obligations on the Taliban to take steps to prevent groups such as al-Qaeda from threatening the security of the US and its allies.

After his election, US https://meta.stackexchange.com/users/1087305/md-juriya?tab=profile President Joe Biden continued the plan for withdrawal but with an end date of 31 August, instead of May.  The US defence officials made the comments on Wednesday in testimony to the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee. The hearing is taking place weeks after a chaotic withdrawal at Kabul airport as foreign powers sought to get their https://www.gamedesire.com/player/mdjuriya5 citizens home and thousands of desperate Afghans begged for rescue. A suicide attack killed 182 people during the operation.

As head of the US Central https://loop.frontiersin.org/people/1523280/bio Command, Gen McKenzie oversaw the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which marked the end of a 20-year presence in the country and America's longest war. Gen McKenzie told the committee the Doha agreement had a strong psychological effect on the Afghan government https://imageshack.com/user/mdjuriya5 because it set a date for "when they could expect all assistance to end". He said he had believed "for quite a while" that if the US reduced the number of its military advisers in Afghanistan below http://www.hot-web-ads.com/view/item-14453585-Pinnacle-Science-Testo-Boost-Reviews.html 2,500, the Afghan government and military would inevitably collapse.

After the Doha agreement, https://independent.academia.edu/MdJuriya he said the troop reduction ordered by President Biden in April was "the other nail in the coffin". Mr Austin said that by committing the US to ending air strikes against the Taliban, the Doha agreement meant the Islamist group "got stronger, they increased their offensive operations against https://advertisingflux.com/place-free-ads-usa/?step=finish&listing_id=276872&transaction_id=d18922b7b705ce087918c3d7094a5ee0 Afghan security forces, and the Afghans were losing a lot of people on a weekly basis".

The defence officials https://www.thebestof.co.uk/local/abingdon/members/view/profile/?id=616e9710fb70e737870b866f previously spoke to the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday, where Gen Milley and Gen McKenzie said they had recommended keeping a force of 2,500 troops in Afghanistan, ahead of the full US withdrawal in August. Gen Milley also said the Taliban takeover would make it harder to protect Americans from terrorist https://www.hltv.org/profile/1473681/mdjuriya5 attacks, as he described the group as a terrorist organisation that "still has not broken ties with al-Qaeda".

Speaking to the BBC https://mdjuriya5.picturepush.com/album/3067783/16442700/Picture-Box/Pinnacle-Science-Testo-Boos....html on Wednesday, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the militants had "given guarantees to the world that there will not be any threat against any country including the United States from Afghan soil". "We are committed to the agreement which has been signed in Doha between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the United States. We also want Americans and its allies to be committed on the agreement too. Instead of making negative https://8tracks.com/mdjuriya5 comments it would be better for them to choose the way of diplomacy and co-operation," he said.
